Johnny Bushell's video is about to hit the silver screen. The Homer artist's music video "Blue Ice," will be shown at the Dena'ina Center in Anchorage.

The music video, which features the Homer Youth String Orchestra, will be shown at 2 p.m., Feb. 15, at the Alaska Forum on the Environment Film Festival.

In April 2017, Bushell was asked: "Can Alaskans really see the effects of climate change?" To bring the issue to a wider audience, he composed "Blue Ice." With funding from the Homer Foundation, he and HYSOC conductor Daniel Perry brought young musicians and their instruments to the Grewingk Glacier, located across Kachemak Bay, in August.

"Blue Ice" will also show at the Colorado Environmental Film Festival in Golden, Colo., on Feb. 23. It will also be shown at the Myrtle Beach International Film Festival in Myrtle Beach, S.C., April 16 to 21.

"Blue Ice" can be viewed on YouTube by searching "Blue Ice by Johnny B."
