Kotzebue DMV to be open in May

The Kotzebue Department of Motor Vehicles is planning to have some open days later this month, with time reserved for road tests.

According to notices posted around town, the DMV will be open during certain hours from May 22-26.

On Monday, May 22, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then again from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. On Tuesday, May 23, there will be scheduled road tests in the morning and the office itself will be closed. If there are no tests, the office will open instead. It will also be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. On Wednesday, May 24, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then again from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. On Thursday, May 25, it will close for road tests in the morning unless none are scheduled, and then open in the afternoon from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Finally, on Friday, May 26, the office will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
