Shortly after learning several colleges in the Lower 48 were interested in bringing her onboard, Barrow High School standout Rose Mongoyak gave the large crowd in the Wells Fargo Sports Complex even more reason to be amazed at her talent.

A Class 3A Player of the Year recipient, the 6-foot forward lit up the scoreboard on Saturday afternoon and helped lead the Gold All-Stars to a thrilling 71-64 come-from-behind victory over the Blue in the Class 3A/4A Senior All-Star Game.

How did Mongoyak celebrate her appearance in the game. She dialed up her long-range game — hitting two of the Gold team's four three-point shots in a torrid 48-29 second-half spree. The Gold's second-half surge erased a 35-23 deficit at the half.
