On Sept. 13, Investigators from Kotzebue and Anchorage WAANT contacted an adult female at a local air carrier in Kotzebue who was traveling to the local option community of Selawik. Subsequent to investigation, thirteen 750ml of distilled spirits were seized. Charges are pending.

On Sept. 16, Nome wildlife troopers completed an investigation and Talkeetna AWT cited Charles T. Black, (53), of Talkeetna for failing to salvage the edible meat from his caribou and taking his antlers from the kill site before the edible meat. Black was hunting on the Nigu River. Black was ordered to appear in the Barrow District Court.
